I love living in San Francisco. On the way downtown to my Safeway store, I saw this altered street sign. I live in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, where the streets are named for foreign cities and countries, like France, Italy, Brazil, etc. and London, Paris, Lisbon, etc. When I was at the intersection of Russia and Mission, a creative person altered the sign to see what you see in the photo. The "no war" covered the numbered address and "Russia" was covered by "Ukraine" -- and of course, there's also the Stop Sign, indicating "stop the war in Ukraine." How uplifting was that? The dictator Putin really thinks he's going to get away with this atrocity. I am hopeful that his "generals" will do a coup of their own, take him out (yes I mean assassinate the son of a bitch).
